FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Type A paver, as per CMAA Concrete Segmental Pavements Design Guide T45.
• This type of heavy duty paver has dentations on all four sides, which means the pavers literally lock
themselves together.
• The pavers have nibs to prevent them being laid too close together. Pavers laid in accordance within
CMAA guidelines will provide a strong durable wearing course well beyond normal design life expectations.
• Manufactured from a particularly high strength concrete they are exceptionally tough and durable and are
able to maintain their performance over long periods.
• C&M’s interlocking pavers are ideal for industrial sites with poor sub grade conditions. Pavers laid over a
flexible base design will sympathetically flex without compromising their structural integrity and will not crack
like concrete, which creates expensive trip hazards for man and machinery, causing unnecessary costly
operational downtime.
• Dimensional accuracy combined with the interlocking dentations provide outstanding load sharing abilities
that produce a more rigid pavement system.
• Residential and industrial roadways, airports, container terminals, rail yards, carparks, hardstands, factory
surrounds and even the internal factory floor can be constructed from the C&M interlocking paving range.
• There is a permeable paving range that lets water penetrate straight through the paving and into the ground
whilst still providing a surface suitable for heavy trucks and forklifts.
• Easily maintained. The segmental nature of the product allows easy access to underground services for
fast repairs.

MACHINE LAYING
Anchorlok® and the Victorian made Uni-pave® are made in clusters to allow mechanical installation using
specialist motorized paving machines.

Lay rates of up to 500 square metres per machine per 8 hour shift have been achieved on large industrial
projects using this method.

Anchorlok® and Uni-pave® pavers are fully cured prior to delivery so they are ready for full traffic as soon
as laying has been completed.

On operational sites it is common to see new pavements of Anchorlok® and Uni-pave® handed over for
operational use progressively as it is laid, without risk to the paving.
